It's been a while since my last post. Little has happened since then in terms of publications, except that I finished my book project on empirical challenges to free will (in German). The book will be entitled »Illusion freier Wille? Grenzen einer empirischen Annäherung an ein philosophisches Problem«, and it will appear in June this year, published by Metzler. Here is a first draft of an overview paper on mental causation (in German) that I was asked to write for the Handbuch Handlungstheorie, edited by Michael Kühler and Markus Rüther, to appear 2015.

Achim Stephan and I are going to host a symposium on Situated Affectivity at the inaugural meeting of the European Philosophical Society for the Study of Emotions (EPSSE) in Lisbon, July 18-20. Additional speakers are Giovanna Colombetti and Joel Kruger.

Here is a draft version of a paper on the extended mind thesis (in German) that asks what exactly we would have to know to be able to determine whether or not the mind is extended. It is currently under review for a collection of essays edited by a couple of younger German philosophers.

After more than four years, the Handbuch Kognitionswissenschaft (Handbook of Cognitive Science) that Achim Stephan and I have been editing is finally in press and about to appear in September. Thanks to the authors and all the other people who helped. Here is the table of contents, and those of you who are able to read German can find the preface and the intoroduction here.
